Unable to delete Active Directory Objects / OU’s

Unable to delete Active Directory Objects / OU’s.

Problem : There could be a access issue or Object is protected with Accidental deletion.

Resolution :

1. Right click on Object /OU –> Properties.

2. Click on Object Tab –> Make sure that

“Protect Object from accidental deletion” is unchecked. If its checked, Uncheck and click on Apply and OK.

3. Try to delete the object /OU. – You will be able to delete the object.

4. If unable to delete, Please check the if you have access to that OU /Object ( from Securty tab).
